Lost and Found Registry
HSSCM maintains a database tracking the reports of all lost and found animals throughout Calhoun County and the surrounding region. If you've lost a pet please call to file a lost report with us. If you've found a pet, please call to see if we have a record of someone's lost pet.

Microchipping
You may think that your pet is protected from getting lost. But accidents happen, and some things – like hurricanes and other natural disasters – are out of your control. In fact, one in three pets will become lost during their lifetime. According to the American Humane Association, only about 17 percent of lost dogs and 2 percent of lost cats ever find their way back to their original owners. HSSCM offers the Home Again® microchip for $25. No appointment is necessary, just bring your animal in!

Live Trap Rental
Do you have a critter on your property who won’t leave your garden alone? We rent live traps to the public for a small fee and a refundable deposit. Please call 269-963-1796, ext. 10 for more information.

Low Income Pet Food Bank
We offer dog and cat food at a low cost for those in need. On your first visit to our food bank the food is free. On your second visit we ask that you please bring proof that your animal is spayed or neutered. At this time you’ll receive food at a low cost, with amount given based on the number and size of your animals. Please call 269-963-1796, ext. 10 for more information.
